These are images I recorded on September 11th 2001 at my apartment building in the financial district of Manhattan. I used to live at 110 Greenwich St, two buildings away from the south tower of the World Trade Center. I witnessed the attacks. I only got a few pictures on a film camera and an early digital camera, just after the first tower collapsed, sending a mushroom cloud of debris down on us. I posted these a few hours after I was able to evacuate the financial district. The later images are when I returned as far downtown as was allowed by the police.
